Nice too see Castro getting a shot at leadoff. I think he could be a great off-the-bench spark plug guy, ala Jamey Carroll, only better.
The problem with Castro is that he's hitting below .250, with an OBP of only .305. With a roster full of guys with OBP's above .350, I don't really get the strategy of putting the guy who gets on least, up first.
exactly, just because bernie has a few nice slap hits everyone thinks he should be guaranteed a roster spot next year and maybe even take over 2nd base.
With the return of Guzman, that is not so clear.
It will be interesting what will happen next year.
