Actually, the trim on the home whites looks like the Red Sox.  Sox have "Red Sox" across the front rather than just the B or the Hanging Sox, but the double red stripe on each side of the buttons, the neck trim, and the team logo on the sleeve.

You know what might makes sense would be if they had, I don't know, BRYCE HARPER on there.  Maybe Strasburg even though they didn't "develop" him by any stretch of the imagination.  But Desmond?  He's not even that young, he's like a year younger than Zimmerman.  And he's nowhere close to being the "best young talent in the game."  My god.  Was this ad designed by Bill Ladson by any chance?

I like the home jerseys a lot.  I think they know what they're onto with the curly W.  After all, it's the one thing about the Nationals that has become somewhat iconic throughout the region.  But the home whites are crisp and simple, I think it's going to be a good look.

By the way, the person that would turn on the tv one night and not know what city the team with the W is from, but WOULD know what city the team with the "Nationals" was from...yeah, that person doesn't exist.

Awful.  I don't really care much about jerseys but bad ones keep money in my pocket.  Never owned the ass awful White/Blue/Black Caps jerseys, never owned any Wizards crap, won't buy any of the new Nats jerseys for sure.  Just ugly with a capital F.

I grew up with the Curly W.  Its all over the ballpark (the gates, the seats) .  People who think it stands for Washington state are dufusses and dumb.  Was never a fan of the DC.  I would have liked a script Nationals like the script Senators but oh well.

Nope, thankfully it is gone.  I'm happy with the old and the new unis.  The changes I like are the new logo and the new away cap.

From Nats Daily News, here is the new logo, their posting concentrates more on the logos than the unis, with before and after pictures of each.


I know that a lot of people did not like the gold trim but I thought it added a nice effect of adding depth to the logos.  The DC logo just doesn't look right anymore without the gold.  I'm not sure where they plan to use the DC logo anymore, but since they've ruined it they might as well hide it.

I'll almost guarantee that the "club lettering" version of the Nationals script will be on the jerseys within in the next couple of years.  Probably should have been on this one, but that's neither here nor there at this point.
