I was quite chagrined to discover that the primary election for which David Trone is subjecting everyone to his biennial barrage of non-stop commercials is not until June 23. Two more months of it. And now he's decided to run negative ads, which he has not done in the past. (I was amused to see that his latest ad contained a blatant spelling error right on the very first screen. Evidently other people noticed it as well because last night it was fixed.)

I suppose maybe this is Maryland's way of paying Virginia back for the nonstop smear campaign by both sides in last year's gubernatorial election and the barrage of ads in this spring's special election.

Neither Trone nor Delaney, the current holder of the Congressional seat, have ever lived in the district. Maryland only requires that you live in the state. Delaney lost the last election, except for likely fraud in the mail-in ballots. The DOJ should investigate it.

Trone spent $22 million only to lose the primary in the last Maryland Senate primary. He is a crook who used his previous Congressional office to try to put his business competitors in the Midwest out of business. So he is trying to buy another Congressional seat.
