Is Ray Knight drunk?

He's bagging on Carpenter about not playing ball beyond Coach Pitch.

As everyday passes by, Riggleman looks more like a moron for not playing Morse everyday. If he stuck with Morse everyday in June, maybe the team could truly identify if he is a starter for the future.

Well, he'll be back on the bench soon because Morgan's suspension is almost over.   >:(

And another "how the freak is this lineup doing anything at all" day.  Morse is looking more and more like a 25-30 HR, 25 2B type of hitter.

Radio guys said he's not stretched out enough to pitch any more.

AlGo is a great guy to have on the bench.  Can play anywhere in the infield with great D and can still hit at least a little.

I would be ecstatic with AlGo getting 1 start a week next season at SS and 2B to rest the kids, and maybe 1 every 20 days or so at 3B to give Zim the occasional day off as well.

The only negative today is Detwiler getting 0 Ks.  That's it.  Everything else has been excellent.  Top shelf defense, smart-aggressive base running, clutch hitting/power from two non-stars etc.

Great point by Ray about all four IFs today originally playing SS.

I'd rather let Craig Stammen hit than use Mench.

Kevin Mench pinch hitting shows us how much we need to improve our bench for next season.
