Sorry to be self indulgent here, but... :old:

  Balester's last 10 games stats...

 12.0 innings, 1 run, 6 hits, 7 walks, 19 K's, ERA 0.75

I think he has settled into the bullpen nicely!  Get the walks down and we have something special in Balester! His fastball tonite went 94, 95 , 96, 99 MPH. He's been at 97 MPH before but never to 99 MPH. That was from the radar gun I saw on MASN. His curveball is Nasty!

    :woop:
MASN's gun is a little fast. According to pitch F/X, his average fastball was 95.2 and his fastest one was at 95.8. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/pfx.php?month=9&day=23&year=2010&game=gid_2010_09_23_houmlb_wasmlb_1%2F&pitchSel=444446&prevGame=gid_2010_09_23_houmlb_wasmlb_1%2F&prevDate=923
His average fastball this year has been at 94.0 which is an upgrade from the 2 previous seasons as a starter when he was at 91.5. I'm excited because the Nats need a big strikeout guy.
