@DPM - I do have a day job, believe it or not
Again, isn't this the definition of "faith", like in Webster's dictionary? I would suggest you need something else in there to differentiate the definition of "mindfact" from "faith". As in "mindfact" is a form of tunnel vision, where the person......and so on.... Just a suggestion you might consider.......
Now, who here likes a good story about a bridge?
Mindfact - (n.)Something that you believe to be absolutely, undoubtedly true, regardless of the presence or absence of any evidence proving it so, and despite any and all evidence that is contrary.Usage - place the word at the end of any statement of opinion. - (i.e. Albert Pujols is a terrible baseball player. Mindfact.)
Faith isn't necessarily the absence of evidence. It's the absence of proof. But I agree, there are some very strong similarities between the two "definitions".
"Do you believe in God? Do you believe God can do anything? Do you believe God can make a rock so heavy he can't move it?" That was the first question I got in Philosophy 101 in the fall of 1969. The professer told me if I reported on the WS (he was a Mets' fan), he would give me a "C" in the course. Guess what I did.
And that's why I never argue with a philosopher.
Do you believe God can make a rock so heavy he can't move it?"
Also, i had this conversation with a 10 year-old know-it-all. It was the most frustrating 20 minutes of my life.
It's why I drink ... alot.

But he doesn't use the word mindfact in that post. Who coined the term mindfact?
It's a great movie through and through. Mindfact.
Pudge > Schneider in every way, no need for me to check the stats (mind fact).
I believe it was either tomterp or Minty.
First single-word usage of it I can find is:And first multi-word usage is:But I didn't do an exhaustive search.
He put it in his sig first. I don't remember why I thought it was him... I just do.
