Way to destroy Storen's confidence there.

So when the game is well in hand, then you pull Storen? Riggleman is a nutcase.

Thank you, was thinking the same thing.

Pulling Storen = good move.

I was just thinking: OK, we've seen enough. HR, walk, doesn't have it tonight. I would not let Storen pitch in the 9th until next year. A couple of nights ago, I didn;t imagine he could lose a 3 run lead. But he did.

What's the point in taking Storen out, now?

he wants to see if Mench can pitch?

Seriously, I would love to see Bally in this situation.

I really hate Sean Burnett's hat.  What a douche.  Why would we let him wear it like that?

Same here... but I don't think the team thinks of him as a closer ATM.

Drew must not have any confidence left after getting yanked like that.

He walked a guy. This is the kind of move that he should have been doing all year long. With a huge lead, the reliever needs to be agressive and throw strikes. If a guy gets a hold of one, so be it. I excuse the solo shot more than a walk. Walks are simply inexcusable. It's a good statement to make, but well overdue.

  Geez he's doing well, let him finish.  What you want to make a point that it's closer by committee? !

Now, I count 63 wins. Lately, they play 162 games in a season, right? That means the worst they finish is 99 losses...which is still pretty bad, but somehow doesn;t feel as bad as losing 100...again.

I can't see the game, but Espinosa went o-fer. Was it bad luck or being overmatched against the pitcher?

Couple at-bats that were line drives... couple at-bats that looked bad, real bad.

I'd still like to see a sub-95 loss season just to be able to point to some measurable progress.
