Chief, I was about to comment on your post but it vanished.

The funny thing about that is that I'm not an Obama-ite so even though he meant to insult me I mostly thought it was funny that he tried to use that (it was on election eve). Secretly though it was a little insulting that he thought I was an Obama supporter.

My brother voted for Obama so it pissed him off and he tried to kick the dude's ass.

I love it. Got it for $50 for the season. No commercials is a plus.

I don't think it is. Fios has a freeview coming up in week 4. To me it just seems like highlights and you can get that for free later while you enjoy a full slate of games. Fios also has NFL Network on demand that has condensed games and that's much cheaper.

Lots of... "it's liking watching a clip show." "they only show highlights" etc. etc.

I met some cool Browns fans that season. I will say that until today I've only met ONE Steelers fan that was cool (except that he's a fanboy).

RE: Red Zone. If all you want to see is a few of the most important plays of the game, just wait until Sportscenter or watch NFL Network. Red zone shows you all the scoring plays and all the plays inside the 20 yard line.

About the Red Zone: I got the free preview this week and enjoyed it. I rarely watch highlight shows anymore but do watch the games on Sundays. I have no rooting interest in any team, so I'd rather just watch the highlights as they happen. But on DirecTv, you can't get just the RedZone channel, as far as I know, so that's not an option.
