Dayum, this Perez guy is pitching a gem.  No point in getting our hopes up (see: O'Connor), but you have to be impressed thus far.

Blah blah yeah he's great whatever...  I've heard that from you guys before.  As soon as he goes out and gives up a homer on a hanging slider, you guys will be talking about how much he SUCKS.

Seriously though, one game doesn't mean anything.  All of our crappy starters have had two or three good games.

As I stated earlier in the thread...minor league pitchers have very little scouting reports on them.  So they tend to do well their first few starts.

When will Frank get it through his thick skull that Rivera is dreadful? Atleast we have a 6 run lead...for now.  Please do not bring him back next year.  Either he is walking batters continuously or giving up hit after hit.
