Scott Olsen is still in???  They should give him his starting game bonus...but they won't.

Going to be very interesting to see what we do with Norris.  Maybe move him to the outfield?  His bat is way too valuable to stay at catcher, much like Harper.

Best bat we have in the minors, including Danny.  Coming off hand surgery and his power is elite and getting back to where it was before surgery.  He's a catcher, but with the gluttony of catchers we have in the system, it makes sense to switch his position.

There was a good replay of the "back turn" on the grand slam.

'His bat is too valuable to stay at catcher' is the dumbest statement I've ever read.

Riggleman made a point that he's def not out of the rotation for the whole season, maybe he picks up after JZ for the rest of the year.

Thanks bglide.

Norris is an offensive monster.

Hasn't posted an OBP under .410 in any of this three complete seasons. Has power, has a great eye, and is developing by all accounts behind the plate.

He's got the potential to be the best offensive catcher since Piazza... and I don't think that's hyperbole.

Agreed.  Especially since he's doing much better defensively now.  Having him split C duties with Ramos, and take some days at 1B, would be a great way to get max value out of him without wearing him down too quickly behind the plate.

Just walked in a couple of innings back. Turned on the Mets game. They're playing the "lowly" Nats, but Keith Hernandez is already telling stories from the '80s, and saying "wow Espinosa" every other sentence.

Espinoza with a rifle-shot throw from SS. He looks like a keeper (although I saw the first game that Yankees SS Frank Baker played about 1971...4 for 4 and that was the best he ever did. So no jinxing.)

"The Mets had a 3 run lead...but then the Danny Espinoza show erupted."
