Tony, as a rule, pitchers should swing less. If you're a pitcher, it's ok to strike out with the bat on your shoulder!
at least he was trying to get something going...sheesh there's no offense from these guys lately.   :(

The pitcher isn't going to be the catalyst for an offensive revival!  In that last at bat, the first pitch to Armas as a foot over his head then he swung at a pitch that was eye level.

That at-bat, in particular, why not force him to pitch himself out of trouble instead of helping him!!!
As soon as you find the "catalyst"...you let me know, cause it's September and I haven't seen it yet from anybody but Zimmerman and Soriano all year long.

I cannot believe that Nook-at-Night beat out a bunt DEEP into the infield for a hit.  Even after I saw the replay...

And Blopez strikes out...big surprise there.  They should have walked Soriano intentionally.  It would have been alot less stressfull.

When you leave the bases loaded twice in a game, you don't deserve to win.  :x

Agreed...I'm tired of Nats leaving runners in scoring position...let alone bases loaded.    :?
