thats a good 10,000 pages of fun
Definitely. Have you read any of Krakauer's other works? "Into Thin Air" is great, but quite depressing.
Agreed. One could also say the same for "Into the Wild", the story of Christopher McCandless' ill-fated venture into the Alaskan backcountry.
Is that about the guy who ended up as bear poop?
I think you are thinking of Grizzly Man's Timothy Treadwell. That's one of the couple of Werner Herzog films I want to see but haven't gotten around to yet.
OK, All I remember is Ron White making fun of the guy.
Rereading my favorite Stephen King "Dark Tower" novel: The Gunslinger.
Why is part of Nathan's blog blacked out? Copyright problems or? Do we need to reference anything (author, publisher, etc.) on here, when we name a book, like other Boards?
Romeo loves Juliet
We have spoiler tags now so as not to give away things to people who may want to read the books or watch the movie or whatever don't get it ruined.Code: [Select]
Romeo loves Juliet
CatsEye is a donk. Actually, I think everyone already knows that one
Great series. My favorite was probably Wizard and Glass. I'm on to this:(Image removed from quote.)
What do you mean everyone already knows that one? One what? Well I did not know about the spoiler, and I certainly did not know that CatsEye was a donk..... Jesus-flip, you ask a simple question and you get grief..... You're off the Christmas List Nathan......you get wrapped up charcoal.......
Bill Bryson is one of my favorite authors, and one of my most important influences as a writer. Before moving to London, I read his genius book on England (Notes from a Small Island - if you haven't read it, it's worth buying just to see why Mrs Gubbins kicks him out of a bed and breakfast) and took detailed notes!
did you not see the good god can't even make a joke on here anymore
