Billy Traber, LHP (3-3, 7.36)..... @ ..... Claudio Vargas, RHP (11-9, 4.90)

Traber, who has mild left shoulder soreness, is expected to pitch against the Diamondbacks on Monday. In his last start, Traber lasted four-plus innings while giving up four runs on 10 hits. All four runs could have been avoided if Traber had received better defensive support.

Vargas enjoyed one of his strongest outings of the season and the third win in his past four decisions in his last start against the Marlins. Though he got into trouble in the sixth, allowing two runners on with one out, Vargas enjoyed an otherwise relatively drama-less outing. The right-hander tied a season-high by throwing seven shutout innings on four hits with six strikeouts. Vargas, a former National, has never faced Washington before.

 I think the better question is how does Traber, with a 7+ ERA, not have a losing record.

It's so wierd knowing I can watch every Nats game. Takes away from my desire to watch that 1 game a week that is on TV.

I opt for a streak of five games without any error.
That would be nice.

Have fun, I'll read the results tomorrow morning.

You lucky sons of....

I still can't get the game here in NC at home.  Not yet anyway.  Still stuck with Gameday.  Ugh, it's like everyone has gone to DVD and Playstation 2  while I'm still stuck on BetaMax and Atari.

Who else is watching the Redskins game??  The defense looks suspect but they have the lead at half 13-9.

After 4 botched appointments, we ditched them and decided to go with Verizon and DirecTV instead.  DirecTV is coming on Thursday, but Verizon won't be able to set up until NEXT Thursday  :(

Vargas is shutting us down big time.. We should have never gotten rid of him.  He is better than any current starter we have right now.  Looks like we forgot to watch film once again.  Our approach has been god awful against Vargas
