I'd like my team to man the freak up and keep the best hitter we have.

no straw man involved.

Oz never did give nothin' to the strawman ...

:lmao:

In all seriousness, it's not like Dunn is already gone. They may still re-sign him and they have months to do so.

Solid post

I want him to stay, but if the offer is right, trade him.

The book on hansen is that he can't hold runners, everyone is running tonight.

I think this was a huge stunt by the Nationals. They have next to no true fans and now people are going to buy tickets to another game when Strasburg's next start is announced. What an unsportsmanlike move to attempt to increase ticket sales? Do I think Strasburg is hurt? No way because he hasn't thrown enough to be hurt and he's being a baby about everything. We all know the Nationals are playing a game with this one. How else can they rip people off in DC? They just found another one.

Too bad Strasburg isn't pitching or he'd be the beneficiary of the current offensive explosion.

Strasburg has won his last 3 starts because of: a) good pitching by him, b) bullpen closing it out, c) clean defense and d) plenty of offense.  The way it should be every game.

He went through that little stretch when he wasn't getting much support, but recently the Nats bats have done their job for his outings.

Saving innings to extend his season and get one more huge crowd late in the season when the stadium would be close to empty.

Maybe Dunn is anti-Semitic for asking for more money and making the Lerners look bad.

not at all.  i am a proud (or maybe it should be non proud) member of LAC, but it's not on crap like that.

it's when they let Dunn walk when they should sign him.  or it's when we have an area that we need to improve upon in the offseason, but we go the cheap way.

C'mon now.

The first inning he threw 22 pitches, but ever since he's been on a pretty good stretch.  5 innings would be great, 6 solid innings would be absolutely amazing.

Already he has given us a decent outing, and a chance to stay in this game, all things considered.

I bet this one doesn't take two weeks before it is done.
