I had to get up early for classes this morning (5:15 AM), but I took a 2 hour nap when I got home in the afternoon.  I am prepared to stay up and watch all of the football and baseball (hopefully) game.

Well, assuming this game is played tonight, it will certainly go after midnight.  And after midnight is September 8th.

Are you listening Comcast???

I'm gonna call it quits if we go past 11 and no game

Yeah, the rain is just stalling over Denver.  It's only 8:21 in Colorado though, so they could possibly still play.  When would they play the DH if they can't get the game in tonight, Saturday?

Ok ...  no big deal there's football to see.  Nats can wait until tommorow.  I'm gonna keep my MLB_TV streaming though just in case.  If my computer starts making noise - I'll know the game is starting.   8)

Freaking rain, seems like there's been a rainout a week, meaning a doubleheader

It could also be Sunday.  This is a four game series.

Because you could get better attendance on a day-night doubleheader over the weekend rather than a Friday.

I don't know.  They usually play double headers on Saturdays it seems like.

You know, I'd like for them to just either call the game, knowing the rain probably wont stop, or wait, because they know there's a good chance the rain stops.  Waiting for hours is just really ticking me off

Of course, the same crowd will be there from tonite, plus a few extra tickets they might sell.

Could someone please explain to me why we have a bigger crowd here now than we do for most games?
