7th   W Harris doubled to deep right, C Guzman scored.

Giants                       1
Strasburg Nationals  8

"GIANTS CENTERFIELDER ANDRES TORRES LEFT THE GAME IN THE FIFTH INNING WITH A TIGHT LEFT GROIN."

THAT is because I picked up Torres for my WNFF fantasy team, 9 minutes before he homered in the 1st AB of the game.

That (Dunn's second) was a mighty blast over Galah's head, close to where Maxwell put it last year.  Opposite field for Dunn, too.  I love how he's putting so many HR's into left center now.  That's a much better all around swing for him.

I am too.  I've been able to keep my "Game." in its holster!

I think Willie is a basic .250 hitter when he plays enough. Used to aggravate me when they started Dukes and management talked on and on about what talent Dukes had...a super-talented .250 hitter who looked lost in the outfield. Harris hits about as well and wins games with his fielding.

Call "game" for the Giants.

Don't forget the 1-3 in Houston either, our 3rd city on a three city road trip.

I don't want to jinx it because the first time I do they'll turn into the Cardinals vs. the Rockies.

I think it's late enough in the game to assume this one is in the bag and thus I can crack a few cold ones. My friend hooked me up with some classic suds we used to drink back in High School.

Excellent beer.  I'd forgotten all about it.  Used to drink it in a little Cajun/Thai place in old town, Cajun Bankok.

That only happened twice and the lead wasn't this comfortable.

He's seeing the ball like he wants to send a message to the Lerners and Stan Kasten and Mike Rizzo.

We may look back and rue those losses against teams we should have beaten when our good pitchers return after the break.

We're 2-4 against the Phillies.  We won 3 of 18 games last year.

Thanks. You've got a better angle than MASN is willing to show.   :?

PC's theory of three city road trips may have merit.

Or we could actually be happy to be on pace for a 20 game improvement with a very young team that is going to get better internally and by next year may be 1 bat away from playoff contention.
