i can only remember that he's been hitting hr.'s when we're trailing 5-0 in the 8th, he hits a solo hr. good for the stats but meaningless for the team.

That was a dumb comment I'm sorry. A Home Run when a team is down 5-0 not only get's them a run closer, but it could spark a team to come out and make a comeback. Obviously not our team, but another one.

I got tickets to tommorow's game - scheduled as Billy Traber vs. Chris Carpenter.

Charlie and Dave said a few minutes ago that Mike O'Connor is back and is expected to start tommorrow.  He also said that F-Rod (Feliz Rodriguez) is also coming back.  [GULP!]

Mike O'C...........F-Rod

but a base hit this past at bat would have been big. nook leads off with a single, we sac him to 2nd and then if sori would have knocked him home he would have tied the game. that would have been bigger than a hr. when its 5-0.

You guys know our offense is on Pacific time. We won't act right until the 7th inning.

Keep the active posting up. I'm up here in B-More and this board is the only way i can follow the game

another good inning for Pedro, just 1 lucky jam hit.. only the 1 bad pitch so far (to AP) and it should have been a strikeout if the umpire wouldn't have kissed Pujols' @--
