I wonder where our post-Bruney pen ranks in the league.

Is this the beginning of Storen as the closer?

I think he'll be the closer in 2 years. Clippard is next in line, I think. I do like Capps, though. All three of them can get the job done.

Why? Except for about a 4 game slump, Capps has been very good.  And, we need a really good reliever to come it at critical moments, get the key out.  THe high leverage opportunities.  Storen is great for that role, and it's a really important one.

Guess you wouldn't much care for seats behind the plate then

But seriously, I agree.

Morgan made a great play.  When that left that bat, I thought it was a base hit for sure.

Who's the guy left in the pen you trust most? I say Slaten.

I'm guessing Riggs lets Storen go at least one more, if needed.

He's extremely fast, and covers a lot of ground. However, he's been terrible this season when having to back to the wall.  Comes in great, goes back horribly.  Very wall shy.

A tad better than MacDougal, Hanrahan and Beimel?

Willingham has only had 3 at-bats and we're in the 10th inning?

We have 3 great relievers right now, and 4 solid ones. I love our bullpen this year. Very reliable, especially in late innings. Walker, Batista, and Slaten have been very surprising.

Attendance is announced at 40,325.  Is that a sellout?
