# 36 overall prospect according to the new Keith Law rankings.
"Going pro may have been the best decision of Cole's life, as he's been more focused and aggressive and is commanding the fastball better than he did in high school. Since his first two starts, he has posted the following line for low-A Hagerstown: 39 1/3 IP, 34 H, 6 BB, 50 K, 2.75 ERA."

Hopefully this kid can be up in Potomac soon and keep moving.

I remember some people were comparing him to Jered Weaver, there minor league stats look similar too.

I don't think that's the way they do it, it's pitcher specific.

I'd put him 4th behind Rendon, giolito, and Goodwin

He hasn't thrown a single pitch and he's had TJ surgery. He's a complete unknown.

TJ surgery means nothing nowadays.

He really struggled last year, not sure he's as highly regarded as when we traded him.

True, but even with those bad 6 starts at high a to open the year he is still very likely a top 100 prospect
