This team is worse than little league. I wish the season were over now. This team isn't even worth watching anymore this year. They obviously don't care and I don't care anymore either.

It certainly does appear that they don'r care.  The talent is garbage and the effort is even worse = bad combination.

We miss Fick's left handed bat off the bench.  He was clutch.

What about the error to start the inning by Zimmerman?

Ugh.  Looks like Bungling Bergmann couldn't pull it off.

All errors suck.  I guess that "time off" this weekend in Philly that Frank gave Ryan hasn't really helped him (he is under .280 now).  Great move, Frank.  Holy backfire - he cost us the game on Sunday by putting in Jackson and look what happened....Jackson commits 3 errors and Zimm doesn't look any fresher.

Bergmann did as good we should realistically expect.  We should all be pleased with Traber and Bergmann since they have been recently given a chance.  It's the others that aren't getting it done.

Never liked Bergmann.  Completely overrated IMO.  New Orleans fodder and that is it.

You are probably right.  I hope we don't need him the rotation next year, but with what we are left with this year, he is pitching to his potential.  He is not a world beater but he is allowing us to attempt to be a dignified major league outfit.  Do you recall last year when we were reduced to starting relievers and replacing them every inning?  That was an embarassment.

Finally someone agrees with my about Bergmann. There's a reason I said bring Traber up first.

Yeah, Traber is alot better.  Bergmann is too scared out  there and shows no confidence.  He rarely threw his curveball tonight and when he did they crushed it.  Bergmann throws in the 90-91 range and is scared and nibbles.  Traber tops in the 86-88 range and rarely walks batters.  Traber also mixes pitches very well and is deceptive.
