i can see why riggleman is leaving CS in there ... it's a test.  stammen/atilano/martin will be fighting for a spot.  CS was good in his last start in SF, not tonight.

Atilano has been pretty good his last two outings.

The "happiest" person in the Nationals dugout is Luis Atilano.  Note the quotation marks, please!

JD should feel comfiest because he pounds the zone.

Stammen has made his case, resoundingly.  :spaz:

I still want to either Rick Ankiel Stammen or turn him into a long reliever who every once in a while can pinch hit if needed.

Anyone else think our offense will go in hibernation the rest of the game?

Bernandina has no business on a major league roster.

He's not SF.

We need Dunn to get in the game so we need to get Myers out of the game.

Yeah, they needed to give him regular playing time for a month to see whether he could cut it or show that he is at best a defensive replacement, but that experiment has run its course. He really doesn't seem to be able have big league at bats. It would be great if he could do well enough to take the CF position. But it is a joke that he's considered a potential RFer.

He'll hit again. I like what he did this time. Put the ball on the ground and bust out of the box.

Morse is a gork.  Bad at bats by Bernie and Who ensure Myers gets another inning.

What the hell is a gork?

I don't know why they were worried about Super Two for Storen.

Agreed.  I do wonder why his BB% is so much lower than it was pre-injury.  He's doing everything else well and hustles all the time.  He's got a grand total of 182 PAs, 82 PAs since people blew up at him earlier, and he's improved noticeably.  Still has a way to go but there's no reason to do anything but play him in RF until you absolutely have to make a move.

If Storen can't get a guy trying to bunt, he might need some time in Syracuse.

Storen looks really shaky.  This would be the worst loss of the season, bar none.

Ok now you are PC.

We need a strike out, Drew.  No contact.  That runner can't score.

So... Storen has been pretty disappointing.
