If the sentiment is "they are likely to lose a game during the season, so tonight is as good as any" then that's fine, if the sentiment is that their long win streak is unlikely so they are more likely to lose tonight, then *sigh*

i watched last night's game with a buddy of mine and we were talking about that exact game last year (of course cuz it was from SF).  funny thing is we watched that game together as well.  i'm never going to watch games against the giants with him any more.

He was fine. He just stumbled. Someone ran over and just tagged him out

It appears that Martin is the leading candidate because Chico pitched Tuesday for Triple-A Syracuse and allowed three runs in five innings against Toledo. If he were to get called up, Chico would pitch on three days' rest. Martin last pitched Saturday and would face the Padres on six days' rest. For the season, Martin is 2-1 with a 2.97 ERA for Syracuse.
