I love the fact that you can hear the Nats bench talking major crap to the Rockies on the field mics.

Awesome!

Just so you all know, Pete Orr would've hit it out.

Did you guys catch Orr playing for Syracuse last night during Strasburg's game?  :lmao:

In 2009, the Nationals won their 20th game on June 19. They were 20-46. The winning pitcher was Jesus Colome.

If our bullpen yields 3 runs or more from here on out we should forfeit this game.

If we traded a run for an out we'd come close to winning.  :?

Clearly you misunderstood. I am predicting a 31-game losing streak starts with a meltdown tonight.

If he's consistent, this at bat he should hit another one.

Love the guy behind the Rockies dugout using a cotton blanket to shield himself from the rain.  He looks like Gumby.

FYI, Ian Desmond isn't on Keith Law's list of Top 50 prospects.

Stephen Strasburg is #2 behind Jason Heyward.

It may be due to his age.

Why would Desmond be?

He's not really of prospect age anymore.

The last time the Washington Nationals scored 10 or more runs was on August 25, 2009, against Carlos Zambrano and the Chicago Cubs. Josh Willingham had two home runs, two singles and a walk. Zambrano hit a solo home run in opposition, off Garrett Mock.

Why isn't he still a prospect if Heyward is still one?  What difference does his age make?
