Aside from the Yankees series, could this be the high moment of the season?  Sounds sad, but I think it may be true.

Great job, Pedro!

Nothing sad about it - this is one of the very best pitching performances you will ever see - 88 pitches, 2 seeing eye singles, no walks, 2 hours, and a shutout ... nothing sad about that!!

Wonderful performance and over at 9:00 pm ... amazing - great job by Pedro and the Nats, solid offense, solid defense, brilliant pitching - just what the doctor ordered ... best part about it - shutting up chipper and his 7-0 road trip sweep nonsense ...

ESPN is still bitter about the Soriano thing ... they've rarely showed the Nats any love at all this year ...

Astacio faced 29 batters - talk about Jeckel and Hyde!

It seems like our starting  pitching has step up their performances since Livan left. Only one real bad one since Livan departed.....

I loved Bernie Castro's performance tonight too ... great hustle on the bunt/single to score the first run - I really like his game

With him and Anderson doing a good job at 2ndbase, Vidro is becoming more and more expendable every passing day.

For the last time, I like Marlon Anderson, but he is NOT doing a good job at 2nd base.  He has made two absolutely crucial, game deciding errors that have led to unearned runs on this homestand.  I could actually make the argument that he cost us the opener agaist FLA and Sundays game against MY.  Plus he is hitting .230 since Vidro went on the DL.

It's over?  Already?  Jesus, I was popping back in to catch the final innings!

Pedro ate them alive!  Way to bounce back from yesterday!

Yeah, he's made a couple of boneheaded plays, no doubt, but he's also made some brilliant plays too and he's been very solid at the plate - all things being equal - I think he's done a good job.

I think he is a good guy to have on your team as a pinch hitter and spot starter.  Beyond that........
