Destined to happen with a guy who can't reliably throw strikes. I can't stand Bruney.

Klej Jr needs to pull it together.

You freaking defended the worthless pos earlier this year just because he had a fluky high BA! :bang: :bang:

He watched a catchable ball go bye, loading the bases. Actually, when he does it, it's choading the bases.

really need zimmerman to come back ASAP ... so we can keep the dunn-kennedy-desmond-zimmerman combo.

Misjudged a lazy fly ball on the short OF grass.  Really horrific.

Oh well.  Glad it ended in 10.  They had no chance of scoring runs.  This offense is so putrid right now.

Riggs won't sit Guzman.

Now see that's the kind of comment I take exception to.  There's no such thing as a flukey BA.  You're hitting or you're not.  Everyone who's been paying any attention knows that Guz has always been a streaky hitter.  And both ronny and I said play him while he's hot, bench him when he's not.  Clearly that time has come.

I saw that... but usually you don't like when I harp on how much I hate him.

Eh, I'm over it.  I was being a dick before.

Guz won't sit until we can get Zim back in the lineup, which I'm guessing won't be until tomorrow.

There is definitely such a thing as a flukey BA.  It isn't that cut and dry.  Your hits have to find holes if they aren't hit really hard, and his are almost never hit really hard.

I agreed with "play him while he's hot," but the time to bench him was days ago.

Ugh, RZ out is really killing this team.  Amazing they're 10-10, really.

I think you bring in The Mad Capper for that last batter, with the game clearly on the line.  Or any other pitcher.  The Nationals are doing well statistically, but we're near the bottom of MLB in throwing strike outs.

Shrug, you're nit-picking.  You know what I meant.

Hindsight is 20/20.  Saying he sucks 24/7 because you don't like him isn't insight.  Regardless, I agree that it's time to sit him or at least move him down in the order.

I have to wonder how long they can keep up this improbable "streak" of alternating wins and losses.

And our pitching staff has yielded the most walks in the NL or something, I think.  They definitely have the worst K/BB ratio.

Eh, I can't see them coming out sluggish.  Saturday they were ticked off they lost that type of game ... you know damn well they will be pissed and quiet in that locker room after a loss like tonight's.  I think with Livo on the bump, they'll be ready to go.

That's definitely a stat that doesn't tell the whole story...
