Wait, you can't change sides during an AB?!?!

You can do it all the way up until you have two strikes on you.

I thought with the switch pitcher he has to declare before the AB and so does the batter. Is that a special rule?

Ramon Ortiz is our chance for a 10-run inning!

That's why Adam Dunn rocks. This is why we need to sign him to an extension. He gets on base even during a slump. Would you rather have Jason Bay now?

What was the on-field delay before Dunn's homer?

Isn't every rule special in their own way?   All I know is that a batter can switch sides but he cannot do it once he has two strikes against him.

Yeah its a special rule, when there is a switch pitcher.  Also, I believe you can only switch which side you bat from in an at-bat twice.

To see if Loney took his foot off the bag when Belliard threw it to him after Guzmans hit.

Dodgers error.  Belliard's throw to first pulled him off the bag.

Give Pudge the weekend off, he's aging before our eyes.

Excellent, thanks.

Did Pudge hold his back in pain right there? More spasms?

That's not a 10-run inning!  You should never go up swinging against Ramon Ortiz!

You'll get a homerun pitch right after he throws two or three balls.  Ortiz's first pitch won't be the only good one you'll see.
