I really hate Miguel Olivo
give him time.
Agreed. Always seem to hurt worst when you lose the series finale.
Livan had a good at bat.
why? cuz he was smiling? it was clear him and nyjer were goofing around ... having fun.
Jimenez is a pretty good pitcher. He brings heat, and he throws an effective off-speed pitch. Atlanta couldn't get a hit off of him, but we got 5. I think he's the real deal.
We got 7.
First one we've lost this year, right?
sure he is a rookie, but how much time does he get before its a problem?
BrewCrewI have a really bad feeling about this Dodgers series
He's one of those pitchers you know you'd appreciate if he was on your team. We have one of those...
it's the third week of the season ... he's batting .233 in 43 at bats
it's the third week of the season ... he's batting .233 in 43 at bats with four extra base hits and 8 rbis. His defense has been getting better too. Way too early to pull the plug on his everyday MLB lifeline.
You think that's good? Two of those XBH's came in that first series or whatever. He really hasn't produced lately.
Well hey if he played everyday and batted in the 2-hole, I'm sure it'd be up I'm not saying I'm happy with his production thus far, but three days ago his average was above .300 ... it's so early still ... not ready to pull the plug.
jmu i didn't say you said send him down. i was speaking in general, way too early to pull the plug.
So the question remains. At what point DO you pull the plug?
well if he's batting .133 and making errors left and right come mid-may ... maybe you re-evaluate or something.
