That is what I was saying all offseason. People talk about his teams making the playoffs every year, but he was left off the playoff roster 4 times.

He's saying "Huh?" because your sentence didn't even make sense. :hammer: But it's okay, we all post drunk some time. :glug:

I never was my team a championship, but who cares?  It can't matter much if nobody knows what the hell you are talking about.

I was kind of worried what the team would do if Olsen and Livan were going strong and had no to replace for Strasburg. Now, we don't have to worry about that anymore.

Just in case you were wondering, Chien-Ming Wang had a 34.50 ERA after 3 starts compared to Marquis 20.52. Nice replacement for him!

Anyone know where he could park his car and walk alone at night around here?

The river is like a minute away from Nats park. He could conveniently accidentally fall into it.

Just tell him to go for a nice stroll over the bridge.  It's a good way to unwind after a stink out the joint start. It's a great evening for trying to walk on top of the guard rail.  The wind makes it much more interesting.

Goats of the game:

Marquis obviously.

Riggleman for starting Zim. He was blowing foul pop ups, double plays, and couldn't leg out doubles.

The umpires - what the hell game were they watching.

I wanted Riggleman to kick dirt on the ump so bad.

The morons sitting behind me yammering about non-baseball bullcrap.

At least he can run to first without doing the crab walk...at least I assume he can if he stays in the game long enough to get to bat.

I will be the first to admit, I wasn't ticked off when we signed Marquis ... but I was ecstatic when we signed Wang.  Two totally different pitchers.

WAIVE MARQUIS. What a waste of a roster spot. Let him go somewhere else.

I don't think it's possible so early into a multi-year contract.

Yessir. I actually think Burnett is 100% unnecessary and bad. Marquis may not be ready for the Batista role even.

Burnett has been solid his last two times out.

Sadly, he seems to have found his calling as a LOOGY. English is probably the left hander I trust the most to actually get a right hander out.

I liked the Marquis signing at the time, but now, ugh, man. I hope to hell he's hurt because if he's not, YIKES!
