Isn't it a save regardless since it was a 1 run game when he came in?
Yes, that's my point lol

did not call the low outside strike on hammer on the first pitch, if gamecast is right.

Btw, I'm not trying to revive a dead horse here, but according to Fangraphs, Desmond was seeing like an average of one more pitch per AB than Morgan this year, so suck on that linty.

If we are going to use small sample sizes, Morgan averaged more than 2 pitches more per a plate appearance than Desmond last season.  :stir:

I'm surprised they didn't call that 1-2 pitch a strike. It was only 5 feet outside

I don't like defensive substitutions with just a one-run lead.

Might be better to use English (or was he already used today?)

2.2 IP yesterday. I don't think he's available.

I think we should just keep Capps in. If Howard comes up with a runner on (unless they hit a homer, he will come up with a runner on), walk him.

What's the point of the steal?  We have to get a hit, anyway.

lol another steal. I think we'll have more steals after this game than we had by game #81 last season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kennedy hit here.

Capps was used in the high leverage situation.

That'd be a massive Saber metrics type move though.
