I'm not going to complain if we only take 2 out of 6 from the Phillies

Agreed. I think I would have been happy with two wins at this point. I definitely didn't think we would take two from the Phillies.

freak yes. 2-4 vs the Phillies. Wont face them until July 30th. We'll have 3 pitchers back and maybe a set bullpen. I'm liking this. Good crap. Lets take 2 from the Brew Crew.

The Phillies will win fewer games this year than last year, just because the Nationals will beat them more than they did last year.

Capps has the closer mentality.  He's yet to crap his pants facing anybody.  So nice compared to Hanrahan.

We only beat them 3 times in 18 games last year.

Let Teddy Run!  No more RIGGED races!

We don't have to win more games than Philly does to:

a) Win the Wild Card or
b) Win the division

I need to stop falling asleep in the middle of games.  I take "a quick nap" in the 5th inning and didn't wake up till 6:45.  Glad to see they won though!

How great is this, we are responsible for ALL of the games the Fillies have lost this season (so far)!!!

Enjoying it while I can, here's hoping it is the start of a 10 game losing streak for the bums.

On to the Brewers, see who get's back to .500 first!

Wrong.  It was me leaving my office, Charlie and Dave behind, and listening to the Phillies announcers for my LONG drive home on XM.

By the way, those announcers were highly critical of Joe West's strike zone.  Once, Clippard had a pitch called a ball, and the announcers were somewhat incredulous.  "Clippard with the pitch, it's ......well, it's called a ball by Joe West, must have been low" Then, they discussed West's deficiencies for a while.  Never did they summarize by saying the Nats were getting a raw deal, but on a pitch by pitch basis they were very frank and fair.

I listened to the game at work today...and got a phone call the pitch before Zim hit the HR.  I may not have been completely focused on that phone call.

hahahah nice. Was an awesome sight seeing Zim pinch hit after 5 days and hit it opposite field in the crappy bandbox. I wouldn't pay attention to my surroundings either.
