Yeah... if there's ever a time to take 2 out of 3 from the Phillies at their park... this is the time.
And the Phillies are saying, "at least we get the Nats while Rollins and Werth sit and we have Kendrick and Happ going for us.
Stammen has a good game today. He was spot on early on last week, attacking hitter after hitter.
Stammen doesn't have the best stuff out of the guys in our rotation, but he's a great competitor and knows how to pitch. Hopefully he gets the job done tonight. I enjoy .500 baseball or better.
Stammen will make a great long reliever/spot starter when this team is good. He just doesn't have the goods to make it through a lineup more than twice.
