Probably due to ratings in this hard core NL East town rather than some conspiracy.

So the Phillies are ratings duds in Washington?

Why were we being subjected to the Yankees-Red Sox?  Washington is an NL East city and there was a game between two NL East teams on Fox.

And the Yanks/Sox dwarf all other teams in TV ratings.

The Sox are worse than the Nats right now :stir:

Completely irrelevant to TV ratings on May 8.  They show this on September 8 with the standings the way they are and there's a problem.

I have Mark Teixeira (3 homeruns today!!!) on my fantasy team but I benched him this week because, well, he's sucked for most of the season!

The Astros, fighting to win their 2nd game in the last 11, are not fighting too hard. 4 baserunners against Jon Garland in 7 innings, including a force out. Two nights ago I watched Dan Haren pitch 9 against the 'Stros; last night Mat Latos went 8; Garland's on pace to finish this one.

Carlos Lee just GIDP on the first pitch. This team's patience is laughable; one walk tonight (and none yesterday).

Jody Gerut (Milwaukee) just hit a double, completing the cycle against the Diamondbacks.

Conversely, the NL East stays bunched like this and September is going to be exciting.

It's May.  He does this every single season.  You bench him in April and then start him from May onward knowing that you'll only be stuck with one or two of his bad weeks at most.

Keep Dorkface off your team if you have any pride.

Dallas Braden, who called A-Rod a spoiled nag or some crap, is throwing a Perfect Game through 8!

This is an instance where I'm really glad to have MLB Extra Innings.

This is so awesome.

Wow, the Rays just came close to getting hits TWICE, but their line drives were right at defenders.

Dallas Braden?  Who picked him ahead of Ryan Rowland-Smith in fantasy drafts going into this year?

+1.

The Rolling Stones are going to re-record a song in honor of Braden - "Hey, You, Get off of my Mound!"

Wow, I don't think I've ever heard a hitter drop so many F bombs after he struck out.

Yeah, what whiny little child. Can't wait to see this series again.
