Hit the ball to Kyle Lohse.  He's a starting pitcher, playing left field!

All they need is a hit and the runner at 2nd scores.

Why can't purported pro hitters like Bay hit garbage pitches from outfielders?

I wonder how long Livan could go if we were in a game like this

I cannot believe that Manuel managed the game better than LaRussa.

I'd love to see KRod blow the save here and have the game keeping going.

It's not like it's the first time the guys ever seen a fly ball.

I'll bet it's been a while since he's seen one from that angle!

Me too.  Larussa was stupid for calling for Ludwick to steal.  That's a tie game right there with the go-ahead run on second if they don't waste Ludwick.

Maybe, but pitchers field fly balls during BP all the time.

He was.  The foot hit the bag a split second before he laid the tag on.

No it didn't.  The view from field level showed it pretty clearly.

The only more perfect thing that could happen in this game is for the Pujols to score and keep the game going!
