Pudge still had a strong spring (average is above .330 still I believe) and before today he only GIDP once.

I'm just busting on him for fun, I'm not prepared to dismiss any of the players out of hand like some people *cough cough*

I'll give them a week or two before I join ASSCLOWN in declaring them washed up bums

I still see Riggleman as an interim manager.

Capps looked good after serving up that one fastball. The movement away from Varitek was nice. He was pounding the zone and around it when he missed.

Desmond ripped that ball. I was hoping it would get down the line for him.

Dice K is really not impressive. I'm surprised we haven't put up a couple more runs on him.

He probably is.  2 years is an interim :P

Kennedy is just a baseball player. I'm really enjoying watching him play.
He has a sweet swing as well.

I picked him up for my fantasy team last year.  He was always marginally better on power and even stolen bases for any free agents on the wire for 2B.  I won the league with him there a good part of the season.

He should only swing at 2-0 fastballs. The rest of the time he should take or bunt.

Guzman makes the first-walk-of-2009 face as he makes a play in RF.

They let Teddy beat the Orioles mascot one time, I thought.
               :worship:

Yes.  He also beat Uncle Slam (at the Pfitz) at least once,  another mascot with a demonstrated history of futility.

What a great day to be at the ballpark, despite all the Red Sox fans and a lack of offense.

Glad Spring Training's over because I think we're gonna have a good year!
