I agree with NOTLD about ST being a good gauge. These games have plenty of meaning.

Ridiculous. You have to take stock of what you have. Would you rather give garbage time to minor league relievers, or see what you have with Batista?

Martin and Mock had good days, let's see what we have with Batista.

Batista is a poet. I'm hoping he produces some good poetry on the mound today.

Currently reading his book. Amateur in its writing, but a high concept that keeps interest.

Would you prefer to be 0-3 and lose every subsequent ST game? That would not bode well for the regular season. What you see is what you get for the most part. I just want to see the players performing well and if that happens the wins will follow.

FWIW: I kind of agree with ~~sportsfan~~ ASSCLOWN in wanting to win some spring training games. We have to break the culture of losing and I know that Spring Training games mean nothing; but for this franchise, taking any opportunity to win games is important.
