I'm not saying we should all jump off a cliff tonight, but I think it's laughable not to say with 90% certainty that our regular season is doomed at this point. This is spring freaking training. Other teams are trying out guys who belong in A or AA just as much as we are. The fact that not only have we been totally unable to get a single win, but that our pitching AND hitting is sucking hardcore is astounding. We've lost all our spring training games so far. And we've played 11!!!!! All of that is not some minor, who cares in three weeks thing. It matters, and it says something dramatic about our team. We've given up 102 runs in 11 freaking games. We've scored 48. That's over twice as many runs given up as scored, and we've had a couple of close, high scoring games. That's dramatic. Carpenter said we're hitting what, .240 so far? And other teams are hitting, someone feel free to correct me since I don't recall, but somewhere around/over .350? That's really freaking dramatic.
Like I said, it's spring training. Not only that, we're talking the first 11 games of spring training. Other teams are playing guys who will never play in the major leagues a day in their life just as much as we are. After 11 games, we should have had at least one opportunity to outperform another team. That we haven't, and on top of that other teams are outperforming us almost double in pitching and hitting is terrifying. Our starting lineup isn't hitting at all. Our relief pitching is making me starting to wonder if we're looking at a bullpen that could compete with last years for being awful. That we're looking at almost a total overhaul of the bullpen and still are as bad as last season means that if this continues for the next two weeks, it's time for changes (With the coaching/FO staff in regards to pitching) *before* the games actually do start to count. The only positive is our starting pitching, with Strasburg obviously being the genuine bright spot. These games don't count, but to say such a dramatic horror show over so many games, without one single positive game so far isn't a pretty good indicator we're looking at a possible repeat of last year is what merits a

And if we win 81 games this season, feel free to quote this and refer to me henceforth as the biggest moron these forums have seen. But this is as bad as it gets during spring training.
