Second misplayed ball by Morse.  I don't know if he had any chance at catching that one, but even Ray Knight was calling him out on it.

Luckily J-Max played it right.

Ugh.  A-Rod scoots one up the middle, advances to 2nd on the horrible throw to home by Maxwell.

Bergmann should be so much better. He is one of the biggest underachievers I've seen.

Yeah, I'm with you.  This is going to be a huge year in his development.  If he can break through the wall he has hit the last few years and improve his swing, then I think he has a very good future ahead of him.  If it is same old with him, then I start considering some of his issues pretty serious.  Right now, though, he is still a real young kid with, wait for it, "a ton of potential."

Would MacDougal take Bergmann's spot?

Cano to left, thrown out trying for 2, but A-Rod scores.  3-0 Yankees, 2 out.

I honestly don't see any specific reason why Bergmann should make this team.

Burgess has a cannon of an arm.  Probably one of the best, if not the best, in our system.

I don't either.  I was just about to say that it's about time to get rid of him.  If this team is so in love with Livan, they can put J.D. Martin and Jesse English in the 'pen and get rid of Bergmann.

Bergmann not locating his pitches well at all.  I would rather have Batista in the pen than Bergmann.  :bag:
