[RESOLVED] HELP

My computer won't let me log on to wnff and my account has been freaking out for he last 2 hours. Am on the iPod.

Well there were some server things going on but everything is working now.  What do you mean it won't let you on?

His DNS probably doesn't have the updated IP yet.  Probably best to just try again in the morning.

How can he get on from his iPod then?  I assume they are on the same network.

I would assume the iPod goes through a gateway of some sort that uses it's own DNSes, but I'm just guessing.  You're the Mac whiz, you tell us ;)

Well it should just go through the same wifi connection as his computer, right?  Wouldn't they both then be using the same DNS?

I wasn't baiting you, just didn't know what to say.  Given the shortage of technical details, there are a lot of possible reasons why his iPod could be working when his computer isn't.  And I'm really not that familiar with the workings of the ipod touch, so I don't want to speculate.
