And from what I've been reading, Al Leiter (who will start tomorrow against the Red Sox) was acquired for cash considerations. There's also a rumor that the Yankees also will be getting another player from the Marlins, but that may turn out to be just that, just a rumor.

i kinda wished he stay with the marlins so they can have a bad pitcher considering the have beckett, willis, and burnett. oh well.

Sometimes a change of scenery is all a player needs, look at the change between the Ryan Drese who started the season pitching in Texas and the one that takes the mound now for the Nats... So far two completely different sets of stats
