I’m entered and so are my wife and daughter.

The three of us were 0-4 in this lottery.

The three of us were 0-4 in this lottery.

Were we to have heard already?    If so, rats.

Here's the next one - never heard of that first whiskey.

Quote
Blade and Bow 22 Year Bourbon ($249.99)     - The award-winning Blade and Bow 22 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited-release whiskey inspired by the craftsmanship of the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery. Smooth and smoky, this bourbon’s taste is accented with notes of torched sugar and apples baked in honey and spices. Its aroma is of toasted oak mixed with vanilla bean, fig and just a touch of caramel.

1792 Sweet Wheat Bourbon ($39.99) - Crafted with sweet and delicate wheat instead of the more traditional rye, the soft wheat delivers a subtle and smooth taste with gentle layers of flavor. Each sip expresses a harmony of sweetness and dryness. Notes of vanilla and caramel are complemented by a touch of white oak tannins, further mingled with dried fruit to deliver a richly smooth flavor.

9/10 was the notification date for the Wellers. I’ve heard of Blade and Bow but not this 22 year old version. At $250 I’ll pass.

Holy crap I did not drink it. I didn’t know this existed before today. It was 40 bucks for a shot.

:hysterical: Should’ve pulled out your knife to show that snake who was boss. Sake is Japanese but it looked like a rattlesnake, where was this from?

Going by the name, I'm pretty sure the snake is a Habu. They aren't rattlers, but they are pit vipers and they do NOT mess around. They will actively go after humans just because.

If he doesn't mind blended Whisky, The Dewars 12 is surprisingly good.

If he's a single malt drinker, well, good luck. I hate all that peat-y bullcrap, so I know nothing.

I asked his fiance'/girlfriend.    She doesn't know.    He should consider that.     ;)

He's a Marine officer (helicopter aviation).    I'm sure he likes good but not expensive Scotch.

You didn't specify a budget so I figured $50. Give him this bottle and he'll think you're the greatest.

I didn't realize there were so many "opinions" about scotch.     I figured scotch was scotch.
