somehow I don't see him bowing out gracefully though
Ugly suit on the sidelines after he gets hurt again. It won't matter at that point. I wouldn't put a lot on the biggest names this offseason. Rudy Gay is as far as I would go. Maybe Boozer if he gets squeezed out of the bigger deals.
Next year could see people like Battier and Kendrick Perkins coming in after Melo.
I still say this offseason should be focused on Rudy Gay, Brendan Haywood and trying to poach a big name that gets squeezed with a mid level exception.
If the trades all go through the current roster is as such:
John Wall - Point Guard
Gilbert Arenas - Combo Guard
Kirk Hinrich - Combo Guard
Nick Young - Shooting Guard
Al Thornton - Small Forward
Quinton Ross - Small Forward
Trevor Booker - Power Forward
Kevin Seraphin - Power Forward
Andray Blatche - Power Forward/Center
Javal McGee - Center
Hamady N'Diaye - Center
That's 11 roster spots with starters needed at SF/C. You can carry up to 15 guys, 12 active. N'Diaye looks destined for an NBDL assignment to develop something to go with the shot blocking ability.
