what, you don't think this guy could get you 15 points off the bench?

Nuggets and Blazers playing on TNT right now. Ty Lawson looked great last night. This should be a good game.

Should be a good game tonight. The Hawks have a great starting five, but outside of Jamal Crawford, their bench is pretty weak. They did have 16 steals () against the Pacers, so we need to protect the ball. It should be a high scoring game.

so frustrating. we should be up by 15 and threatening to blow them out of the building instead we are only up 2. I agree with Phil. Haywood needs to stop taking those bad shots while we are trying to build a large lead. Leave the scoring to the guys that got you the 10 point lead.

The Hawks suck. Come on Wiz.

Sucks that Foye's our only other PG. That means Stevenson's going to get 20-25 minutes per game.

That was the first quarter. You seriously giving up on them already? Pathetic.

I would start to mix in Nick Young, McGee, etc to make sure the starters are rested for tomorrow.

The Wizards don't seem like they have it in them to win this game vs Atlanta. It doesn't help that these refs are corrupt mother freakers and are playing a betting game to see who can call the most fouls against the Wiz.

What a nice pass by Oberto. Haywood needs to stop shooting. Miller needs to get the ball more.

Well, he should be an All-Star, at least.  Dwight Howard will be the top vote getter for center and the coaches, unless it's Flip Saunders, will pick Shaq as the backup, despite the fact he's not worthy.

He needs to stop shooting. Dude's half retarded when he has the ball in his hands on offense.

The game on Saturday night (Halloween) at the Verizon Center was awesome. Some of the shots Arenas made, especially the one at the buzzer, across 3/4th of the court, was awesome. The Wizards definitely have some depth this year, and the Director of Basketball stated that they were 3 deep this year.
But the Opening game was awesome: from the Gilbert Arenas masks they gave out; to the smoke/fog in the entrances while you were waiting in line to come in; to the large boxes of candy they had out on tables on the concourse - where you could help yourself (trick or treat); to the costume contest they had where the person with the best costume got 2 free season tickets, for the rest of the season (guy dressed as the Metro, won the award); and to the introduction of the players and coach.
As to the game itself, it was action-packed with the booing of referees, to the chanting of "Bad Call", to the jumping up and down of fans to some of the shots that the Wizards made. This is a fun time to watch the Wizards. Next game November 4, 7:00pm, at the Verizon Center.

Big game tonight. Hopefully Blatche has another good one.

I just read that Rudy Gay is going to be a free agent next summer. Man, I wish we had room for him.

I bet this game, wizards are +11 1/2... we'll definitely win if not lose by a few. We're a different team
