Is Carpenter really bragging about Nats being 24th in the MLB in attendance?

ridiculous crap like that only happens to the Nats.

Nats get a single to right field with a fast runner on 2B and he is thrown out at home by a mile.

Your #3 hitter should be able to get a hit to drive in a run, Rob!

Or he walks and the #4 hitter comes to bat!

It's not like the pitcher was coming to the plate!

Broxton has given up 0 earned runs over his last 19 IP.

Hasn't given up an ER since August 15th.

That's so idiotic Bob.  Just because there are 5 teams in a division, it doesn't mean four of the teams will play each other (two series).

Every team in the NL East, for example, could end the season out of the division.

Now, wouldn't you have rather had Dunn coming to bat, with runners on 1st and 3rd?

no you have to send the runner. the (fast) runner was on 2nd and the ball was hit solidly to the outfield. 2 outs.

if there were 1 out or 0 outs i would have held harris. but not with two.

I'd rather have Dunn batting with a chance to take the lead.  Your #3 hitter should be the best or second best hitter on the team, who should be able to get a hit.

I still don't think it's a good move.
