Ah, a Sunday with the Mets fans...

Don't disappoint the bag heads Maine. You need to live up to your June 6th start.

:nervous: Something about Charlie & Dave saying "Zimmerman throwing off balance" makes me nervous. :nervous:

Glad that worked out.

This gameday thread sucks as bad as Mock's pitching and fielding.

Harris cannot even hit a batting practice pitcher despite a second chance.  :hang:

Edit: GTFOHWTBS Murphy.

1-2-3, Elmer Dessens owning us. :(

This team sucks so badly. Two freaking hits against the 2009 Mets!!! through 6 innings? Are you freaking kidding me? Riggleman leaving Mock in to hit when you have your only two hits of the game on base with two outs? WTF? Riggleman *obviously* does not want to be here next season. He's making that painfully clear. Hell, at this rate with these decisions (I'm still insanely annoyed over Desmond in RF costing us the game) let Corrales finish the 13 games left. The only bigger joke/proof how pathetic this team is is how we're still on page one two hours into the game. Yeah, next season National's Park is going to be beyond a ghost town.

What the hell is Segovia still doing on this team? First guy up and a hit. He got lucky with the double play, but that doesn't change his 12.00 ERA. We ought to take notice of that same hit. It seems this road trip we've gotten it into our heads the point to baseball is to try and get as few hits as possible. EIGHT INNINGS against the 2009 Mets and we've got TWO HITS and one walk. GTFOH. Why this can't be the last day of the season... To think we've got two more weeks of this BS. I can't believe in all the years of horrible Senator teams there's ever been a lower point than this. If anyone is still actively enjoying this team then the losses have driven them insane.

And I was just thinking... This road trip's YNOT. Who on earth would have imagined after last Friday that someone as stupid as I who said Dunn would not finish the 9 game road trip with 38 HRs, meaning he would only get one HR on a 9 game trip with 3 games in Philly, would end up being right. Especially after he hit #37 in his first AB on the first game of the road trip? Dunn has been a dudd this trip. 5/24.

Put in Segovia for the 8th inning when you're still theoretically in the game. If not for a lucky double play the inning would a blow out already, and with two outs due to that same double play he then manages to walk the next two. Now you're putting in Garate?!?!?! This guy was stuck in... LA?'s AA, we trade for him and the Dodgers' AA trash is magically good enough for the Major's for us. And it couldn't get any worse than Segovia's 12 ERA? Garate has an 18 ERA. There are only two guys I truly am baffled as to why they're on this team instead of in single A or AA ball, and Riggleman is using them back to back here. Any fool could have told Rizzo these two were not major league ready, they've proven time and time again they aren't ready and should have been gone a week ago, and still we use them.

Go Garate! Triple, two runs scored to raise up Segovia's ERA. A not statistically impossible 4 run deficit with one inning left becomes a blow out with a man on third. Two weeks more of this ****.

Jesus christ. Segovia, Garate and now Logan Freaking Kensing? And of course he gives up a five pitch walk to start off. A 10.55 ERA. So we use a 12 (Now probably 20) ERA, 18 ERA and 10.5 ERA all in the same inning? Come on Riggleman, just end the game. You've got two outs, try putting in someone with an ERA under 10 and you might stop giving the 2009 Mets free runs.

All right, we've only gotten two hits in 8 innings, but all we need are two grand slams and we can win this sucker!
