Tim Redding has a perfect game going against the Nats after three innings? ROFLOL. Funniest thing this season by far.

So a pitcher with a 5.3+ ERA and an .070 BA going into this game has us with one hit almost halfway through the game AND with that BA he's batting 1.000 in today's game? Either we truly have given up for the season and suck beyond imagination or Tim Redding has a big chip on his shoulder that's got revenge written all over it.

Did you know that David Wright has 117 SB (only 31 CS) in his career. He is an underrated baserunner.

And he's not even that fast. Just a smart baserunner. Like Abreu.

horrifically embarrassing.

1 run scored in 11 IP against Redding this year (0.82 ERA).

They are the main reason we are losing these games over the last few weeks.

Quote "everyone" laughing at you or GTFOWTBS as JMad would say.

I don't think anyone would have denied it a week ago any more than anyone will now.

The fringe guys are actually doing quite well.  I won't go as far as to say they are "mailing it in" as SF does, but it definitely seems that the people with job security have lost focus.

That's true. Pete Orr, Willie Harris and Ian Desmond are really doing awesome, and the bottom of our orders have put together some silly rallies. The people with job security don't have much to play for except statistics, though.

Dunn has to play for Minty's avatar, and Zimm has to play for me to stop dogging SF about his streakiness ;)

John Lannan doing a beautiful job conserving his pitches. On pace to throw a truly ridiculous 81 pitches in 9 innings.

In fact, if we're going by pitch counts, John Lannan could theoretically complete 11-12 innings if he stays on pace and we tied the game.
