i know we're a bad team, but we are so damn unlucky.  detwiler has pitched a gem thus far and gives up two bloop hits and hits a batter that he already struck out (and had an 0-2 count).

oh well nice pitch there and nice play zim.

morse is gonna get a hit ... somebody will.  if we can get two/three more innings outta detwiler like this we're in good shape.

Detwiler is the worst 2 out pitcher I have ever seen.

He's made one mistake all game. Give the kid a break. He's given us a fantastic start so far. I'd like to see him finish 6.

haha dude he's making his 11th major league start, given up 4 hits and 1 run against the world series champs.  if he gets out of this inning, with 85 pitches, it's a good outing.

it'd be nice if the o woke up today.

of course it's a solid outing but doesn't change the fact that over his career (minors + majors) he has continuously melted down with 2 outs in an inning. I would have liked to seen him improve in this area. It's kind of unexplainable.

He hasn't been throwing much lately, I doubt they want to push his pitch count too high.
