this is absolutely embarrassing.  seriously J.D. if you want to stick up in the bigs, then show it right here.  if not you'll be sent right back down to AAA like the rest of them.
going to blow a 5-0 lead. :bang:

there is a reason why he doesn't have one of the four rotation spots in September.

much better

love the infield coming in to calm him down.

i hate the lovefest/suckfest over the cubbies.  yeah they have a great ballpark, with a large fanbase and some tradition.  but they are usually overrated year in and year out.  go in there and have fun and do your job, it's not that hard.

thanks for swinging at first pitch.

if we don't score here with the middle of the lineup batting this game will be in serious jeopardy.

That was just the eye of the storm.  The hurricane is still raging around Martin.

The offense has to know how badly we need more runs!

we just can't knock pitchers out of the game. Wells should have been gone, at the worst, after the 4th-5th inning.

it's going to take a hell of a lot more runs than 5 to win this game.

Is this how you guys cheer at Nats games? This is why I quit going to minor leaque games. Couldn't enjoy the game for the referee hecklers and dummies who can't cheer for their team even when ahead. - Insert tons of flame here-

Oh I go for the umpires but good - but it takes a lot for me to go after the Nats players (Manny Acta, I let him have it)

he's trying to nibble and gets him in bad counts then he's forced to throw a strike and he pays for it.

I don't know how I'll handle having good starting pitching on the Nationals, assuming we get it at some point.

3 runs on 2 homers with that wind is not that bad - bunch of alarmists.

I root, root, root for the home team but I've seen this movie before.  How can you expect the ending to be different?

You can hope for a different ending but how can you expect it?  That's the definition of insanity.

I don't understand why Wells gets the outside corner and Martin doesn't.

Dukes continues to hack at the first pitch he sees and produces outs.

I just don't know what the freak he is thinking. Does he not realize that he is a a lot better when he works the count?
