The Nationals pitching is beginning to fall apart.

LOL @ ALBERTO GONZALEZ.

he wouldn't be in the majors if he were on another team.

is the offense officially done for the season?

it appears so to me. tonight they are getting pwned by a career minor league bum who has no business pitching in the Majors.

you can guarantee that Jason Bourgeois or Alcides Escobar will hit their first career HR against the Nats this weekend. maybe both :?
almost :?

Lannan's fastball isn't sinking enough. no life on it. and he's leaving it up in the zone far too frequently.

holy crap. it's time to shut down Lannan for the rest of the season.

he has been atrocious for a good month now.

Lannan isn't an ace, he isn't even a "number one." He's a #2 or #3 starter. Although he is pitching like he is in Syracuse right now.

I was debating the other day with someone on whether Lannan gets shook up.

I give you Exhibit A.

humiliating. we aren't getting crap from our starters.

and we have no alternatives in AAA really. Martis got lit the hell up tonight: 5 IP 11 H 6 ER 3 BB 3 K. He has been terrible.

Detwiler has been okay but I don't think he would fare much better than any of these guys already up here.

Lannan throwing BP.

Not even that.  He's a human tee.

At least with batting practice, they have a chance of missing the ball.
