No it doesn't. I still don't think that we end up with the worst record in the bigs.

well that was a pathetic game.  bullpen did a pretty admirable job, all things considering.

top of other order was solid, wish the rest of the line-up could contribute.

the highlight of the night was detwiler's solid performance in AAA (AGAIN).  time for him to be called up?

Weren't you at the game?

Another question, does Balester get one more start or should he activate his bus pass to Syracuse?

correct. people were enamored with our wins over BS teams but we will fall back into our rightful place as the worst team in baseball over the last month and a half or so.

we don't have the balls or the talent to beat legit teams. look like a complete different team.

How many games do the Nationals have left against the Mets?  Nats should beat up on them.

It will be amusing to watch the happy horse crap crowd back peddle when we fall to earth. Sadly that will probably be the only amusing part.

let's face it. Riggleman is a nice guy and a superior manager to Acta but he is not going to be brought back next year and shouldn't be.

Same crap could've been said for Acta. He had a couple of the same guys but throw in Shell, Tavarez, Cabrera, Hinckley and Ledezma.

Hey, I heard that  :nono:

I've only been to one Nats game this year. Lowest total yet for me since they came to Washington. Sad thing is..I've been to eight Orioles games this year.

I'm with you on that SF. I'm pulling for Bobby Valentine.

8?!

I've been to two Nats games in D.C. and one at Camden Yards. also my lowest total since the team moved to D.C.

Hey what's the deal with the GM situation?  Is Jed Hoyer from the Red Sox still in play for you?

Unless he's holding his cards close to the vest Rizzo is the one who's going to screw the pooch on the next season by underestimating how many holes this team has to fill. Meanwhile, everyone will scream for Riggleman or the new managers head.

I think we play them 18 times so I say the Nationals win 4 of 6 from New York, remember that glass is half full, of what I won't say!

The remaining schedule does not favor wins.

Part of winning games is timing.  If we constantly hit other teams' worst pitchers, we have a chance.  We didn't in this series.

We need to go up against more #5 pitchers!
