serious. Just like the Pirates series, teams are not gonna throw heat to dunn if a walk doesn't force in a run.  I was surprised Dunn wasn't ready for something off speed from the nervous Sanches.

OK.  Not all of Dunn's homers have been on fastballs so I'm not sure what you're getting at, and I still don't get what this all has to do with what I said, but...  yeah.

I hope that Riggleman didn't tell him to run because if so Riggleman is dusty Baker-level stupid.

The Marlins must have more former Nats on their major league roster than any team in baseball: Nick, Bonifacio, Ayala, and Sanches. Kind of weird that they're in playoff contention.

The final strike was on Sanches circle change (which I wanted as soon as it went to 2 strikes).  He throws it with a "thumbs down" motion, and it breaks a bit away from lefties.  It's probably his best pitch to lefties.

Thanks to the Anderson Hernandez trade, the Mets also currently have four former Nats on their 40-man.

We really need the rotation to step up, the bullpen is way too overused now

If he throws "hard," it will all be okay. He'll come around.
